I cannot say enough good things about this product! It is always hard to tell the exact scale of things from images, but this print is thicker than I was expecting so it is nice and sturdy. It certainly hold up and is easy to work with. I placed it on top of a piece of bark to make the cave area bigger, and with only coconut substrate around it, it has remained in place and flush against the side of the enclosure. My tarantula loves it! She goes spelunking in her cave every day so it acts as a hide and gives her a lot additional space to roam if she wants. Shipped to the US from Malta but was tracked and very fast. It makes me wish that I had more spiders to buy these for just to support the maker of such a great thing!

The cave is perfect for my two geckos! It's a great size, neatly fits into the corner, and seems quite sturdy for a 3D print. I'll need to clean some off the glass to pretty it up a bit but the cave looks great. As soon as I put it in one of the geckos immediately went to check it out and hung out in it for quite a while. The entrances seem like a good shape since she was able to enter very easily. I enjoy being able to see them in the cave and hope they use it often.

In truth, I can only recommend it, the quality is as advertised and the seller is available in case of problems. I have seen many aquarist videos and many aquariums but none had a cave level in the substrate. It just looks great and I think that this kind of accessory will become a standard in aquaristics, it just deserves to be known and posted on the internet so that it becomes known. Because in reality, I have not found any comparable product on the internet to create caves with such a natural look, despite a lot of research.

About the caves

No. Every piece is made from aquarium-safe PLA that is biodegradable, biosourced, and fully inert. It will not affect your pH, hardness, or any other water parameter. Safe for fish, shrimp and marine aquariums.
Yes. Our pieces are suitable for terrariums and reptile setups as well as aquariums. Check the individual product page for compatibility details, especially dimensions, if your animal fits through the entrance comfortably, you are good to go! The rest is design preference. Disclaimer: Do not put it directly near high heat (Up to 50°C+/122°F+)
The large openings are intentional, so most caves are easy to clean with a standard aquascaping tool kit. A magnetic cleaner and a soft brush or toothbrush are highly recommended for the surrounding glass. We use the Chihiros Mini on all of our cave tanks. A regular hose is used to clean debris inside the cave.
The first step is to check the dimensions on the individual product page, below "Add to cart". If your animal can comfortably fit through the entrance, you are good to go. Beyond that, the choice is mostly visual: most caves can work in most tanks. A smaller cave works well as a subtle detail or accent piece, while a larger one creates a stronger focal point in the scape. Do not overthink it, our caves are designed to blend naturally into the setup, regardless of the style of your tank. That is exactly what they are made to do.
